Hello to all our colleagues attending the 2006 NAFSA Conference. We are the Centro Universitario de Idiomas (University Language Center) of the School of Agronomy (University of Buenos Aires).
We are the largest and most successful language school in Argentina, with 20.000 students per semester enrolled in 13 different language programs: Spanish for Foreigners, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese and 3 Aboriginal Languages (Quechua, Guaraní, Mapuche). Our International Studies Department receives an average of 1000 foreign students per year, coming to learn Spanish and taste the life of one of the warmest cities in the world, Buenos Aires. Our Spanish Programs are one of the most prestigious of the market, at very competitive prices for foreigners wishing to spend from one week to one year enhancing their communication habilities in the language. The CUI is a perfect option for Study Abroad programs worldwide.
Since we are based within the most prestigious agricultural college of Latin America, we offer undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of agronomics, agro business, environmental studies, gardening and others. By agreements with other national universities and colleges, we also offer such courses in other fields not related to agronomics, such as international trade, social sciences, international relations, economics, as well as others.
